Raids

What is raiding?

A raid is the RAG term for a street collection, they can be extremely fun and highly rewarding. You won’t believe it until you try, so come and give it a go! Contact the raids team for more information.

To take part in a Cambridge raid just e-mail a raids officer to get details of where to go to collect the requisite items (a collection bucket, permit, charity T shirt and stickers). Fancy dress is encouraged, but not necessary. If you’ve never been out before the raids team will help you with some tips and ideas and make sure that you know what you’re doing. You can collect for as little or as long as you like and the funds you raise really do make a difference to the charities. So if you have a spare 15 minutes or so on a Saturday why not give it a go?
