Want to make a difference but don’t know how? You need to do some Raiding.
Raids (charity bucket collections) are organized by the Raids team throughout the year, and your help is needed. With themed collections, changing locations and a wide variety of recipient charities, Raids are a great way for you to meet new people and broaden your horizons, all whilst raising lots of money for a good cause.
If you’re looking to get involved in RAG and don’t have much time to spare, Raids are a fantastic way to dip your toes into the RAG pool. You can give up an hour or two at the weekend, or you can come to London for an all-expenses paid daytrip; you can dictate the terms of your participation. Plus, it’s a fab way to meet the team. Welcome aboard!
Home Raids take place at weekends in Cambridge City Centre, for a variety of charities throughout term. Come along for a morning, an afternoon or even just an hour or two. Home Raids are a great way to meet the RAG team and escape the books for a few hours.
Megaraids are a fantastic way to escape the Cambridge “bubble” during the heat of term, giving you a chance to set up camp in a central London station, shake your bucket and collect as much money as you can for a chosen charity, all whilst having fun and meeting people from other RAGs around the country.
Need a holiday at the end of term? The RAG Raids Tour takes place over 4 days after the end of term and sees our team visit different towns across the south in their efforts to raise money for a good cause. A great team-building exercise with some fantastic anecdotes to be had by the end of it.
